I can buy and sell parcels of real estate for a living now, after retiring from the U.S. Merchant Marine . When you say start 'm assuming you do not have your license yet? If it does not have income unless your agent to send the money to get through classes and even make your first sale . If instead you have some money saved , for example 6 months worth paying all their bills while in school and expect in your first commission check then I would say go for it . Does your agent offered to pay for their education and license ? Also ensure that his office Brokers is a member of the MLS , most are. If they say could tip continue working your regular job and go to school in the evenings that I think would be your best sceniario . You do not deplete your savings as soon and then start working in the office and elsewhere, then have a working time 9 to 5 USD. This is a great race and must stay on top of all listings and find out what your customers need and are price range. I would like to know more about your situation as it could give better advice if I was better informed about their status and brokerage contract between you and the Company , good luck!
