I'll be continually post questions I have, and I'm looking to buy an equatorial mount for my 'scope . The optical tube weighs 30.8 pounds . The focal length is 1200 mm and the focal ratio is f/4.7 . I will be using to keep objects in view and do some broadcasting my opinions online . I could try taking " long " exposures , eg M31, or M51 , etc. the longer exposures would possibly only seconds two minutes (probably not ) . delve just want to make transmissions and lower astrophotography ? , Though suck lol . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Just looking to compare these assemblies . The differences between the Sirius EQ- G and Celestron CGEM , again , the optical melody is 30.8 pounds, so will the Celestron CGEM be a better option as it says it supports 40 lbs ? Thank you. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have a budget of about $ 1,200. Obviously I can go a little higher. I want something that is good enough to delve into astrophotography that is not going to negotiate in two months. Lol .
