What will Bush's response be to Blair and Schwarzenegger's plan to fight global warming?0Phil Rewa2012-10-03 06:32:38
"Britain and California are preparing to shelve the Bush administration and fight global warming, along with the creation of a common market for greenhouse gases. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus ... MedlinePlus The goal is to set a price on carbon pollution, an unwanted byproduct of burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gasoline. The idea is to set overall caps for carbon and reward businesses that find a cost effective way to reduce their carbon emissions, promote new technologies, greener. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus ... MedlinePlus The global program of carbon trading is only mandatory in Europe. MedlinePlus Created in conjunction with the Kyoto Protocol, an international treaty of 1997 which came into force last year, caps the amount of carbon dioxide that can be emitted by power plants and factories in more than two dozen countries. MedlinePlus Companies can change rights contaminate each other directly or through exchanges located around Europe, provided it meets the cap. Canada, one of the more than 160 nations that signed Kyoto, plans a similar program. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Although the United States is one of the few industrialized countries that have not signed the treaty, some eastern U.S. states are developing a regional cap-and-trade program. And some U.S. companies have voluntarily agreed to limit their carbon pollution as part of a new Chicago-based market. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus ... Bush has resisted Blair's efforts to make carbon reduction a top international priority. After taking office, Bush reversed a campaign pledge of 2000 to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide, and then withdrew U.S. support Kyoto treaty requires industrialized nations to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases to 1990 levels. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The United States accounts for a quarter of the world's pollution global warming. Government officials argue that requiring cuts in greenhouse gases would cost the U.S. economy 5 million jobs. Instead, the government has invested billions of dollars in research to slow the growth of most greenhouse gases while advocating a global cut on one of them, methane. Should people acknowledge that the best way to fight global warming is to not have children?1Bhoomeeka2012-10-03 21:15:03
The fun part of having children or growing population is that the world economy is simple and no one cares about the amount of money borrowed to provide good business for a growing population . Is everyone afraid of having cleaner water , more trees , wealth , etc. People without children would like to have not borrowed money , for the money that should have been added to the economic system , if they had played. Not only peope want children wholesale fun.The problem is the needs of children growing up and have no economic future due to population growth . Population growth has always been the economic problem that causes wars , terrorism , etc. People like to put people grow in a closet or close their eyes . If the rate as the population grows every year is the same , which means that the popualtion have increases in size and the same amount of money that is borrowed .

Did anyone thought of the possibility that current global migration & trade practices caused Global Warming?0Marcel2012-09-19 05:13:02
A possible cause ( s ) of global warming is the ongoing trade and migration practices among nations . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The continuous and permanent mass transfer and movement of bulk cargo and materials from one place to another through trade ( eg commercial and industrial grade minerals and raw products and by-products , such as oil , steel , wood, cement , machinery / equipment , different finishes and unfinished products ) may actually be the main causes of the phenomena . Resulting waste and destruction caused during recovery might actually be secondary . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Just factor and human migration animals from one place to another may have contributed greatly to the changes involved and the geographical imbalance that may have affected the original state and systematically aligned on Earth. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus This, I guess it's probably one of the main reasons for the abnormal and alarming worldwide are experiencing now . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Does anyone think of this?

Who is really responsible for America's lack of response to global terrorism before 911?10TANGIE2012-11-06 02:20:02
Pointing fingers rhetoric has set this week after the interview of Clinton / Wallace on Fox about who did what about terrorism. We can not deny that there has been a pattern of escalating violence by terrorists against U.S. interests since 1979. The plain truth is that Mr. Carter , Reagan , Mr. , Mr. Bush, Mr. Clinton did little to take the fight to the terrorists. It is also true that Mr. Bush Jr. did just before the 911. My question is who is really responsible for our lack of action in general ? In my opinion: The American people are responsible. Most of us know very little about terrorism before 911, and did not consider the threat posed by the real . The reason I think this is because even after the first operation attack on the World Center in 1993 there were loud cries of the people for action. I have curiosity to know his opinion, but this is not an open invitation to hit anyone .
