This person wanted to buy some goods out of me and we agreed , but halfway through I changed my mind and asked politely to cancel the transaction , did not respond back to me . A week or two passed and a cashier's check came in the mail with no return address and its been sitting here since, now I get this letter in the spam section of my email and I was wondering is trying to scare me or something. < Br > MedlinePlus ATTENTION MedlinePlus I AM THE LORD MAXWELL LEGAL COUNSEL TYLER . All **** like that is false , especially in case . It is not specific and is saying something to you through email spam . If you really care about suing you , we will send a letter or go to a subpoena .

I think that no judgment is made via e- mail . It is formally done by mail. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I think you may be dealing with a scam from the beginning. If your stuff was a website like eBay or Craigslist and others, then you must inform the person with an explanation and a copy of the lawsuit scam really think it is . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If you can not report it , maybe try contacting the police a copy of this e- mail and your cashier's check ? They may be able to advise you. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I think this person is a scammer from the beginning. No return address . The cashier's check may be false . Do not change it , but unless you need it for the police report as if it would help. If it was Craigslist , then you should never deal with people giro or anything. Always in cash and in person. If it's something that can not be displayed locally, then make sure it is a legitimate person and ask them to address . Ebay is different from Craigslist
