What stock trading website would you recommend to a first time trader? ?0Vanessa2012-09-12 11:19:04
Hello , I have 19 years and I've been wanting to start learning stock trading , but I'm not sure which site to use . I was thinking about eTrade but the fees are very high and have a minimum of $ 500. I did some virtual trading with fake money in wallstreetsurvivor.com and 21 % return after a few months . So I looked at OptionsHouse and Scottrade . OptionsHouse was leaning as they have low rates and no minimum . Has anyone had any experience good / bad with OptionsHouse ? Thank you. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Also, if anyone has a good website that teaches beginners who would like to know . Thank you.

Setting up a Business as a Sole Trader and need some advice.?0Ilovemath2012-08-23 04:58:03
In failed attempts to find a suitable job to go along with my increasing bad health ( chronic asthma have a maximum of three asthma attacks a day ) I decided to register with HM Revenue and individual entrepreneur and start my own business . I totally disagree with just sitting at home and claiming benefits , I'd rather find a way to work and earn my own money so I thought it could possibly work for me . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I register with HM Revenue online in September 2010 and was told to wait 4 weeks for this application to go through. Meanwhile I make an appointment with the bank and open a business account because under the policies and guidelines to become a sole trader who had a business account to trade. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have not heard anything from HM Revenue and contacted the office and asked me to be patient and wait another 4 weeks , I heared anything yet and I thought maybe I just fell behind on sorting through applications. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus This week I received a letter through the door saying we owe tax for September , October, November , when I have not even started shopping yet because I have no confirmation of this, it was said that I owe money in arrears a previous bill. I have not received this bill before either. I'm not sure why this is so to this day I'm still waiting for confirmation to start trading and can not reach the helpline number , no queue you just say your busy and cut me forever. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any help is appreciated Thanks .

Filing Taxes as a Part Time Day Trader In Canada?0i.love.you2012-08-23 02:38:03
In 2009, my working hours per week 40 was my main source of income, but I was experimenting with trading stocks on the side. I was fired from my job, but I was not unemployment insurance and so my main source of income (although it lost more money than I did) technically did eventually become my main source of income. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have no positive income from stock trading in 2009. I have yet to account for everything in my tax return, however, every trade and every detail of each trade. I do not know how to do that, I must add copies of my bank statements and trading with a letter to tell them exactly what he was doing? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus A little background information: MedlinePlus MedlinePlus - I am a strict intraday trader (buying and selling the same stocks in minutes), not investing, so do not think that "capital gains" is the way to present MedlinePlus MedlinePlus - I have a "Trading Tax Bill" from Questrade but most of my trades were made with my regular bank account, I have two accounts only MedlinePlus. MedlinePlus - I have a "profit and loss" report for each of my accounts MedlinePlus. MedlinePlus - I've made a lot of my money in U.S. dollars trade MedlinePlus stocks MedlinePlus - I have so many offices to realize that not be installed on any of my tax forms MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have a series of questions that are making my hair fall out. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus MedlinePlus 1. ) As an account is a "Tax Account Free Trade" where I do that on my return? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus 2.) Looking at my P / L, how do you expect Canada Revenue Agency to calculate and display all the trades I did in 2009? Is there a place on my return to the scene and calculate this information? MedlinePlus Do I have to clip the P / L in the back of my back and just place certain numbers and calculations on tax forms under certain boxes and count up with the rest of my return, or shall I? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus It's probably pretty easy, but I can not figure it out and want to be sure. Anyone know what to do. Thanks in advance.

Going back to school and working at the same time.... need advice.?0A smith2012-08-02 16:53:02
Here is the situation: Last year I was out of work and did a lot of soul searching. I found that I'm really unhappy with the field of work that I am in. So I started going to school in something that I've always wanted to do. At the same time school started, I started working again, in the current industry that I am in, and I have never been more unhappy. At first it was hard to juggle both full-time. So I had to cut back school to part-time and now it is more manageable. However, the daily grind (from work) is getting to me. I've never found my current profession very fulfilling and now that it is "out in the open", it makes it almost unbearable. Furthermore, something the school didn't tell me when recruiting me is that I won't be able to get night classes for every class, so eventually there's going to be a scheduling conflict. Quiting my job or taking a lower paying job is not an option because of bills (including a mortgage). I've looked into possibly going into business for myself (ie day trading), at least then I can control my work hours. I want to focus on school but need a steady stream of income. Any advice on this situation? How did other people manage the same/a similar situation?
