My old friend and I got into a little scratch. We played Maplestory together, and shared almost everything, even Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, which some of them are high priced. We shared around 3,000 dollars of stuff. Now, we split up the Yu-Gi-Oh! team and he wants more than he contributed. I can't let him do that, because he is just asking for way too much, 50$ more than what he put in. Now, money is the last thing I will fight about, but since he didn't explain to me why he left, I just gave him what I could. We kept the Maplestory thing going.
A couple of months later, we get back into the game, and we decide to share cards again. We both put a lot of money into it, we decided we sell our current cards, and put 500$ into the binder [the book of cards that we put together for trades and decks] each. After a little bit of time, he got sick of me, but I had to figure it out the hard way. I was talking to him on Skype, and we were fighting a boss on MapleStory. He disconnects, and the call on Skype drops, but after that he reconnected to my call. He was talking to his brother about how much of an idiot I am, how much he hates me, and how much he wants to delete the Maplestory account we shared for 2 years.
Shocked I was, but I can't leave without a fight. I feel like if he's going to act this way, I shouldn't be punished, last time he took more than he put into the Yu-Gi-Oh! binder.
He calls me the next day, and says I want out of the Yu-Gi-Oh! team, I'm going to get my cards back from you. But since I put more work into it, can I get compensation for the trades that I did?
Now, I say **** that friendship, if he wants to act like that, then I better fight fire with fire.
I changed all of the information on the Maplestory accounts, and I currently have all the cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! team with me.
By Wednesday, he said [I heard this when he didn't know I was on the call still] if I don't see Jay[me] on Wednesday and he doesn't give me the cards; you, me and my brother are going to his house, and taking the cards from him [He was talking to his friend].
I think he meant beating me up for the cards.
So now, I don't know what to do.
Please consider all punishments and probabilities, and I thank you for reading this all.
P.S. I don't want to get into legal issues.
