I know that the Kings wanted Odom, but Artest looks right now. It was a total beast offense and defense in these first 2 games for the Rockets. Artest would have really been able to help defensively.

I probably would have changed for Artest, if I was Mitch Kupchak , but has been right when I was wrong (Andrew Bynum ) so I guess the answer is probably not ....

I think it's really difficult to compare how well a given player makes a team and translates it to another.

Artest would help the Lakers defense , because, of course , their offense is established. But the Lakers really a big deal here. They can win the AL West or atleast finish top 3 each year for a very long time, do you really want the risk to combustable Artest ?

Artest havent really played a great team in his career either. His defense will help the Lakers , but I think they will manage with Bynum and Gasol reaction of the twin towers.

What the hel lare you talking about? Did not you see the game last night . "Beast total defense" He allowed Josh Howard to score 28 points last night , how to be a beast on the defensive side ?

I do not think the Kings have been taken to Odom Artest up. The wanted draft picks in return , along with Odom of the Lakers, who simply do not have because Gasol trade . Although Artest would have been a defensive help , it was not worth the risk for the Lakers to make trade and possibly ruin the team chemistry . Artest has looked good so far, but hindsight is always 20/20 . When he was traded , just not worth the risk for the Lakers .

No, the Lakers are doing just fine without him .

Nope . There team is playing very well and it is dominating . You can see they are a team that has played together and each of the other trends in the field. There is a machining oil well in attack and defense . Why break that chemisty with a known trouble maker .
