Use a mild soap and a soft brush. After drying the subject carefully , the wax with a quality furniture polish . Make sure the wax does not contain silicone! A mixture containing carnauba wax part is ideal for the hardness of the wax. Polish with a soft cloth and enjoy!
If the piece is scratched , try to take it to a jeweler and see if they will polish with jewelers rouge.
